Inspired by: My PhD work involves applying this biosensor to various cancer/bacteria species. Coming from a materials science discipline, we believe our technology gives a fresh look and different perspective at an old problem. With the help of the business school, UCLA Anderson, we were able to hone in on the particular application of lung cancer screening.
