Profession: Scientist

Inspired by: As a scientist in the field of translational research, I’m always curiously seeking for a meaning and looking beyond obvious biological contents. The idea to study body discharge struck me while studying phosphate stress in plants. While analyzing plants by extracting their organs, it occurred to me that I could do the same with bodily fluids, particularly discharge. The concept of specifically focusing on vaginal discharge stemmed from the idea that any type of secretion can be examined in a lab. However, in order to diagnose ovarian cancer and other pathologies within the female reproductive system, it's most effective to examine actual fluids that surround the necessary organs. As soon as the idea matured in my mind and I realized the huge unmet need that my idea could solve, I became determined to develop this lives saving platform.
