The Challenge: X-ray CT Medical Imaging has proven to be a very useful technique for observation of physical details inside of the human body. Unfortunately for young children, the Brenner Team of researchers at Columbia University has shown that the X-rays themselves can be dangerous.
In most of the under developed nations, access to basic health care is scarce. A heater is an indispensable device for many applications, especially for medical purposes. As such,
BERP rotor improvements provide an advantage in maneuverability/precise positioning/ low vibration levels and fast reacting low level situations. The increase in lift efficiency will also penetrate many civil markets/ based on the reduced fuel consumption for the same load carrying capacity (Technical description courtesy of Agusta Westland).
Our Create the Future design entry is a revolutionary new, generic, mechanical fastener system based on the interaction of two key elements: a “split-tongue” and its mating groove, as shown in Figure 1.
The split-tongue consists of a support base with two protruding flexible arms,

In rural areas where wireless internet connectivity is not always possible, data collection is done on handheld device, drones, and /or other field machinery (e.g. harvester, drilling machines), then collected and brought to a central location with connectivity to upload the data.
