My patented Planot® speaker design has no box, no tweeter, no crossover and no narrow sound. It has none of the drawbacks of old fashioned cones-in-a-box speakers. My educated guess is that 99% of all speakers in the world are wooden boxes with 2 paper cones and a crossover.

Furthermore in a tsunami, the flow of water is usually very fast and furious plus they carry with them huge amount of debris which consist of mud, trees and houses.
