Imagine a handheld air conditioner, resembling a hair dryer, which one could carry around in a handbag or back pack to outdoor activities such as ball games, picnics or for walking about town. This design would enable the user to blow chilled air at the face, collar area or into the top of one’s shirt.
A primary goal in compressor design for Gas Turbine Engines is the reduction of size and weight. It is also beneficial to reduce the number of parts, especially blades which are expensive to produce and maintain.
The idea is to use as source of electrical energy an amplified force exerted over a small distance at one end of a lever generated by exerting a small force over a greater distance at the other end.
Initially, the motor that drives a flywheel with an attached lever via an axle is powered by an external power source.
The core idea behind this proposal is the scientific expectation that surface functionalized carbonaceous nanoparticle containing pre-heated diesel engine fuel (petrodiesel, biodiesel etc.) would have increased molecular kinetic energy and better reaction characteristics resulting in a more efficient and greener combustion process.
