Learn:

  • Controlling various electronic devices, sensors and motors
  • Use different micro-controller chips in circuit designs
  • Structured Programming style Coding using BASIC and c languages
  • Phonemes for speech and song
  • 3D Printing to make mostly snap together easy to assemble robot toys
  • Finishing and painting the plastic parts they print
  • Mechanical systems assembling the various "X-Projects"
  • Math … Addition, Subtraction, Trigonometry
  • Theater Arts writing video scripts for the robot actors

Uses: The "RoboGuts™ S.T.E.A.M. Education Program" can be used to start your own side business teaching beginning classes from your home as a sustainable “MakerSpace”, or in a local library, or Boy & Girls club and local elementary and middle schools.

The RoboGuts™ circuit board was inspired by Walt seeing and hearing perverts and predators inside online games talking to young children when they join the games at 3pm after school daily.

Details:
RoboGuts™ circuit board: Microsoft Cognitive Services for Object/scene identification, facial emotion detection, speech emotion detection, face recognition and identification. Simone also uses a GPT-3 chatbot, AIML chatbot, and a Bing service for speech recognition. She also uses Sitehound and YOLO Darknet computer vision.

The RoboGuts™ Kit is designed to use common off the shelf home hobby electronic components, making learning and building more economical.

Most of the first X-Projects that are palm size robot toys only have two degrees of freedom, the BillyBot X-Project has five degrees of freedom, then the Rover X-Projects and others have many more degrees of freedom.

The first X-Projects start sans any sensors, but as the user moves through the experiments, they begin to add more and more sensors and motors to projects for navigation, collision avoidance, color recognition, even face recognition and A.I.

From the first to the last, all the X-Projects can talk and sing in any language and play musical notes using phonemes and frequency data.

The software used in the "RoboGuts™ S.T.E.A.M. Education Program" is PICAXE BASIC which is the easiest for beginners to learn before they move into more difficult languages like c.

The "RoboGuts™ S.T.E.A.M. Education Program" primarily uses PICAXE 28X2 chips and modules, but the user can swap in a new microcontroller chip such as the ATMEGA 328P-PU and use the Arduino IDE for programming, or the thousands of other 2-PIN to 28-PIN MCU chips available. The RoboGuts™ circuit board doesn’t care what chip is used in the primary sockets.

The advantage of the RoboGuts™ circuit board design is that a user can even install 74XX type TTL logic chips or even analog chips to build other experiments and demonstrations.
