If you have a drivers license, then at some time or another you sat at a traffic light with no cross traffic wondering why you are sitting there, wasting time. It is not a matter of "timing" traffic lights so traffic flows more steadily but upgrading traffic signals to recognize patterns, time of day, and conditions.
It's a robot that does multitasks and it takes place in a restaurant or coffee shop. It opens the door for people, takes their orders, places plates and cups on tables, and helps people carry things.
It will be made of a mobile base and one arm attached to that base, several sensors and controllers.
This device would use a small camera such as used in cell phones, probably attached to an eyeglass frame to observe the anticipated path of a person of limited vision or blind. A computer would check the image for posts, stairs,
In order to provide additional protection to warships from submarine and mine attack, a perimeter barrier comprised of submerged “panels” is proposed. A collection of panels creates an underwater wall that is intended to intercept and detonate the enemy warhead using their own explosive force.
A “panel”
INTRODUCTION
This paper deals with one of the key challenges in designing the next generation future hybrid vehicles with Efficient Waste Heat Recovery System.
Much of the fuel energy in an internal combustion engine is lost as heat, mainly through hot exhaust gas. The high energy losses, and high temperatures of the exhaust gas,
Nearly 70% of the earth is covered by water. Only 2.5% of it is fresh & only 1% freshwater is accessible. The world is facing a scarcity of water - termed as water crisis. Wastage of water is seen and documented by various agencies. In urban lifestyle, one of the areas where water is wasted unknowingly is in gardens,
Problem: Heat generated from carbon-based fuel combustion or nuclear reactions consumes limited resources, and creates waste products harmful to the environment and to living organisms.
Innovative
Solution: An unprecedented development reveals a method that creates heat inexpensively by efficiently releasing the energy stored within water molecules. Water as a fuel presents a readily abundant, low cost source of heat energy.
A wave-powered electrical generator (WPEG) of novel design is proposed. WPEG operates by harnessing energy from the water waves, i.e., from an environmentally friendly source of energy. Briefly, WPEG consists of a geared motor-generator, accommodated by a double-cone, which is rolling on two eccentric circular rails.
In the United States, about 48 million people are deaf or hard of hearing. These numbers are expected to double in US adults alone by 2060. The current way to serve this community includes expensive hearing aids, cochlear implants, or microphones that are clipped on, worn on the speaker’s head, or passed around. These devices manipulate sound,
The objective of the project is to make an assistive limb to assist human beings in some or other activity, eliminating human errors and increasing productivity. The most common activity humans perform, be it a soldier or an industrial worker or a rural woman, is weight lifting and that is what we aim to target.
