In India most of the vehicles are parked in an open environment that is exposed to sunlight directly and temperature outside can go beyond 40 degree Celsius in summer. Due to this effect the inside temperature of a parked vehicle may go up to 120 degree Celsius due to convection, conduction and radiation. To minimize the inside temperature and to avoid thermal stresses without using the engine power, solar energy can be used to provide power to the ventilation system which removes the additional heat inside the cabin by inducing fresh air using rotors and fans.
The solar panel in this case does not consume much space as it used some thin sheet like materials which can be pasted onto the roof of the vehicle. The increasing temperature will be found out using a temperature sensor which also functions by the power received from the solar panel.
