I’ve designed WiWater. WiWater is a battery-free wireless system of localized measuring of water consumption. So, this is a system capable of measuring how much water we consume while we are taking a shower, brushing our teeth, watering the garden, washing our clothes or the dishes, etc.

Users will see the consumed amount in their smartphones or tablets, just accessing a web address (The address of the WiWater small web server).

Due to the fact that every sensor distributed all over the house is wireless and battery-free, the installation is simple and maintenance is not required: It is the ideal system!

The access point is the only thing that should be connected to the power supply. The access point takes the information from the nodes and make it visible through a real-time web application. The access point has an uninterruptible power system (UPS), so it will keep working regardless of the eventual energy cuts at home.
