1. Overview
The T180 is a 4 syringe drive mechanical pump designed for use in continuous flow chemistry. Each syringe drive consists of one stepper motor to move a syringe vertically to fill and dispense liquids through stepper motor driven 8 port valves.
The T180 syringe pump provides the maximum flexibility for configuring 4 programmable syringes for single and tandem syringe operation. Single syringe operation provides a single programmed volume dispense. Tandem syringe operation provides a continuous volume dispensed by the coordinated combined aspirate and dispense of 2 individual syringes.
The programming interface provides syringe size, syringe pump speed, and pump configuration for single and tandem syringe operation.
Operation of the pump is selected through one of three tabs provided in the user interface.
The second tab is determines the Tandem Syringe settings for operation.
The third tab is used to confirm communications settings required to communicate between the PC and the pump.
2. Specifics Pump Features
• Interchangeable syringe sizes – 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 1.25, 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 50 ml volumes
• Wide range of flow rates as determined by syringe size – 0.001 to 360 ml/min
• Variable Aspirate and Dispense speeds to correct for liquid degassing and syringe cavitation
• The wetted materials in this pump are glass, PEEK (PolyEther Ether Ketone), and FFKM (perfluoro elastomer).
