is an internal combustion engine in which the cylinders are arranged in radial lines around the crankshaft and pistons, disconnected from the latter, the transfer of the kinetic energy exclusively through the interaction of magnetic fields static generated by permanent magnets.

This engine is a new use of two technologies already well-tested: one refers to the endothermic radial or stellar engines while the other is proper to the operation of electric motors. The first technology is used to convert the chemical energy of fuels into kinetic energy; the second replaces the coupling rod-crank, characteristic of reciprocating engines and necessary to transform the rectilinear motion of the pistons into rotary motion of the motor shaft, by the interaction of magnetic fields. The engine of the present invention has a peculiarity: the pistons are not connected to the motor shaft and the kinetic energy is transferred only through the interaction of magnetic fields generated by permanent magnets.
