Aerocat - Convertible Aircraft

This is a proven, flight tested aircraft design but it has not reached the production and manufacture phase yet. The Aerocat is a 4 person aircraft with turbine powerplant. It is all composite cabon-fiber construction. A unique pontoon design allows the Aerocat to be transformed from a high speed retractable-gear land plane into a full amphibious water plane in only a few minutes. The design is slick, fast and responsive yet maintains many safety features including a proprietary high lifting airfoil, and triple flap design for slow and safe ground handling. The Aerocat cockpit uses all glass panel interface with side stick controls. The Prototype aircraft was tested in both a single and twin engine version with plans for the single-turbine to be the first into production.
