Inspired by: To provide a seat belt system for vehicles which is vastly superior to the current system.
Lifebelt has the potential to reduce real world injuries in motor vehicle crashes. This includes injuries caused by a person sub-marining out of the seat belt in a frontal crash and lower lumbar injuries caused by the hard anti-submarining pans found in the front seats.
