The uRADMonitor AIR is a small device with an opto-electric Particulate Matter sensor that tracks your environment wherever you are. It shows the best routes in town for doing jogging, cycling, or taking your kids for a walk. In the background it contributes with valuable data to pollution mapping across wide areas.
Healing of wounds for diabetics could be one of the most difficult challenges that diabetes causes. This project aims to help diabetics to heal their wounds using 100% natural herb with low cost. Through using Conyza Canadensis we can extract a variety of chemical compounds that enhance the process of healing and encourage metabolism such as: Flavonoids, Gallic acid,

I designed the Dynamic and Active Orthosis concept which can be used in association with the underwater traction device "MANTARAYA", created a few years ago. This is a concept enabling both paraplegic people and sportive divers to swim underwater the same way as dolphins.
The present experimental work aims at investigating the effect of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles addition in Calophyllum inophyllum biodiesel in a twin cylinder water cooled direct injection four stroke diesel engine. The nanofluids have been prepared from 50 ppm and 100 ppm concentrations of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide with distilled water through an ultrasonication process.
Abating global warming will require capture of CO2 from existing facilities such as power plants. However, existing carbon capture processes are too costly mainly because of the excessive power necessary to compress flue gas, and the lack of processes that convert CO2 to valuable products to offset the cost of capture.
Tunable lenses, lenses that can adjust their power without lens assembles. These lenses are made by entrapping liquids in clear elastic membranes and actuated mechanically (by pressure) or electronically (bellow actuators). These lenses have been out there for quite a while but their full potential is not yet realized due to aberration inducing spherical profile,
This concept is actually two concepts; my modified light-field array 3-D Pixel Unit and my concept of the Light-Interface, both working together to send light through an object to render it invisible while producing a holodeck within the inner Light-Interface itself as a by-product of sending light through an object in the first place.
From California, South Africa to Sydney all cities have water supply problems. With climate change water is a future issue. Washing machines use lot of water. City water use for washers is huge. Front loaders are costly to maintain, buy, run with high detergents that pollute water bodies. Top loaders are cheaper, easy to use.
