This Wheelchair Drive-Assistance Device is designed to eliminate the complex arm motions at awkward wrist angles required to propel a manual wheelchair by its occupant, motion that can greatly contributes to rotator cuff tears and median nerve damage, which can possibly lead to carpal tunnel syndrome, affecting roughly one-half of manual wheelchair users.
The stability of railway track work, particularly when laid on wooden cross ties, is a constant concern of railroads. The grip of the spikes or bolts or other securing means which holds the rails to the tie plates and the tie plates to the cross ties depends on the resiliency of the wooden ties to maintain the grip.
Many houses burn to the ground by just a few embers that fall onto the roof. My design would resemble an oversized covering that would resemble a shower cap. The material would be metalized such that the embers could land without starting the roof on fire.
