My idea for this contest is an Integrated Vision System. This, in a sense, is a way that the VEHICLE, along with the driver and/or passengers can SEE.
Today, fish fillets pin bone removal is a manual process that is labor intensive and can result in painful and permanent carpel tunnel injury for workers. Automated systems can only be used in post rigor mortis situations, and depending on the fish species.
Many people do not realize that you can prevent a toilet from overflowing simply by kneeling next to the toiling and closing the water inlet valve by hand. Often they believe their only option is to plunge the toilet before it overflows.
My tapless insert design allows solid body threaded inserts to be installed into simple drilled holes. Installation of the insert requires pressing the insert into the hole and using a bolt and washer to pre-load the insert.
My proposal is to use the motorcycle stator based design around the axle of a vehile (used in hybrid or electric vehile were a gas powered engine is not used with alternator). This should allow some electricity to be generated while the vehicle is in motion,
What ?. A windshield wiper system that significantly improves the safety of most types of motor vehicles.
How ?. The system fully wipes off all precipitation (rain, snow, etc.) from the windshield regardless of intensity yet the wiper’s sweeping motion is not perceived by vehicle occupants.
