The Problem:
Be careful what you wish for you might get it. We needed detailed information on the dangers of radiation for spacefarers so we instrumented the LRO and Curiosity missions to give us this data. The answer we got was alarming and not what we wanted at all.
The natural calamities, often unprecedented in scale, are difficult to predict accurately. The tsunamis, though rare, are high impact phenomena, exposing coastal people and island habitats to great risks. The impact of tsunamis is higher in scattered/undeveloped coastal communities, devoid of modern communications and media coverage. Many systems are available in the world for tsunami alerts;
Problem:
Campus settings lack a form of instantaneous communication in the face of technological failure or cell tower overload.
Benefits:
The sound level of our whistle is great enough that it can be heard from room to room in large buildings. This allows for communication between walls in the face of a crisis (active shooter, stabber, etc).
TriWheel walker wheel system, intended to make the use of walkers more safe and easier to use on rough or uneven surfaces.
TriWheel replaces the single wheel assembly on walker legs with three wheels mounted on a triangular base that rotates as necessary to travel over rough surfaces without having to lift the walker.
This weapon is a double barrel (slide pump) action shotgun that has the capability of holding fifty (50) rounds of 12 gauge shotgun shells in a side-by-side stagger single box magazine.
