Rail safety is everyone's concern. Whether we ride subways or high-speed trains, the possibility of someone or something on the tracks, or a possible derailment could bring trains to immediate halt if we ran a SCOUT ahead of the train.
The SCOUT is a small, light, air cushioned vehicle riding the rail before the train.
The fuel efficiency of CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) driven scooters is very poor (60% of geared bikes of same CC) in city driving conditions mainly due to higher engine operating speeds, slippage in centrifugal clutch and power lost in transient phase plus CVT efficiency. Still these scooters are popular due to ease of driving.
Solar energy is a dilute form of energy, to achieve temperatures above 90°C, the concentration of Solar radiations is must. Various types of concentrators are developed, namely Concave reflective, Convex transmissive, Fresnel lens based, Cylindrical line focusing or Spherical/Parabolic point focusing and so on. All these concentrators, depending upon the concentration ratio and overall system efficiency,

Vibration energy harvesting (VEH) is the process of capturing available free energy from the local environment (e.g airframe structural vibrations) and converting it into an electrical form. While there are commercially available vibration energy harvesters, challenges such as low power density and a limited operational frequency bandwidth have prevented the widespread application of vibration energy harvesters.
Abstract
We invented a novel Monocular Hyper-Reality Display with wide 160 degrees viewing that consists of a dome-shaped wide viewing screen with a radius of 40 cm and 160 degrees, a mobile projector with ultra wide projection lens and LED light sources, as shown in Figure1. In this system,
At highway speeds, a large amount of energy is used to overcome aerodynamic drag. I believe we can make changes to our highways that can reduce that drag.
Currently one way to reduce drag is to drive slower. The force of aerodynamic drag goes up with the square of the vehicle’s speed, so driving slower reduces the drag.
The eye is designed to allow one to focus at different distances. It does this by reshaping its own internal lens and hence changing its power. The lens are attached to a muscle. To see the nearby object, contraction of the ciliary muscle will make the lens thicker and more curved, and thereby decreases it’s focal length.
Periodic press in newspaper has generated a lot of papers in the world just for readers’ appetite. In order to preserve our eco system where we stay now, paperless is quite often one of the ways we adopt.
In order to reduce production of paper and ink,
Printer nowadays is usually big, heavy and expensive. Due to this, a printer in a company is usually shared by a few computers to save cost. Occasionally, one will encounters simultaneous printings by several users which slow down the whole printing processes. If the printing load is too heavy, the printing will even be aborted.
The rise of the diseases today has been attributed to unhealthy and sedentary lifestyle and habits such as smoking, high alcohol and carbonated drink consumption, and heavy consumption of junk food that are extremely high in cholesterol and sugar content. The onset of the diseases is usually being unaware and left striking silent until red flag symptoms are recognized,
