Over the last few decades, the use of public transportation has been attractive to most of the people. The increase in passenger count has made ticket vending and vehicular monitoring a complex task. In addition to this, frequent accidents occur due to overload of passengers and these accidents are not cognizant to the rescuers.
The main objective of this project is to make life comfortable and easier for disabled and elderly people by using a handheld smart controller device. The smart controller device which is designed suits all types of disabled people such as the deaf, dumb and physically challenged.
Gesture recognition has a goal of interpreting human gestures that can originate from any bodily motion or state but commonly originate from the face or hand. It helps in building bridge between machines and humans than primitive text user interfaces or even GUIs (graphical user interfaces), which limits the majority of input to keyboard and mouse.

The project aims in designing a system which alerts the railway authorities when any fire accidents occurs in the train and this system also provides an immediate effect which controls fire using controlling system. At the railway station the system has a ZigBee module, a microcontroller unit, a PC with software and necessary driver and power supply units.
In the present day scenario, Agriculture uses 85% of fresh water resources and this percentage will increase in the future years. Hence the water and food demand should be met by the recent technologies for sustainable use of water. The proposed method is based on an irrigation control system to optimize the water use for agriculture.
