Atherosclerosis is a long-term inflammatory condition that builds up inflammatory cells and fat in artery walls, which can cause serious cardiovascular problems. Because current therapies focus exclusively on certain components of the condition, such as inflammation or cholesterol, they frequently fall short of addressing the disease's complex nature.
Overview:
The Opener is a 3D printed assistive tool designed to open/close screw-on caps on bottles. It operates a ratchet mechanism that removes the cap with ease. The opener essentially acts as a force multiplier and focus it on the edge of the bottle cap.
Ferromagnetic metals such as iron and cobalt are extremely well-known. In fact, iron is the strongest ferromagnetic metal. Untreated waste disposal not only harms the environment but may also lead to cobalt poisoning if injested.
Motivation
The rapid development of wearable electronics and the emergence of mixed reality (MR) headsets in practical applications have highlighted the need for enhanced laser safety eyewear. Traditional laser safety goggles often cost more than $200 but provide inferior vision with significant color distortion and darkness.
Electric ducted fan propulsion systems are gaining attention for their potential to power next-generation aircraft towards NetZero emissions. These systems can be mounted away from the airframe or embedded within it, the latter being known as Boundary Layer Ingesting (BLI) ducted fans. BLI ducted fans,
