My company is attempting to build a mobile robotic EV charging solution, using small robots that will collect energy from existing power distribution or from new solar generation collocated with the robots. Our goal is to make EV charging available everywhere to encourage EV adoption, followed by using the EVs to move renewable energy to nighttime for use in home (by V2X).
The robots are initially deployed with an adapter, but EVs will be modified to make EV charging and discharging fully automatic.
Maximum fossil fuel displacement in minimum time and at minimum cost is the goal.
