The Wilksch ALCE (Aircraft Loop Compression Engine) uses an innovative ultra-lean compression-ignition combustion system and two-stroke cycle:

- Low SFC across operating range
- Air Cooled
- No Weight Penalty
If required, turbo normalizing can then be added to achieve 25,000 feet for pressurized applications. Real world fuel savings of 25% are expected for typical GA applications, using fuels which are readily available worldwide. The engine is modular, and can be made in four, six and eight cylinder versions.
