This concept is to add a series of 4 or 5 miniature wind turbines captured within an aerodynamic designed housing located at the top of a windshield on EV applications. The concept is to utilize the wind velocity flowing up from the windshield to accelerate the air flow through the turbines. In addition, the turbines would also function while a vehicle is parked or static while the front is facing into wind patterns, generating power while the vehicle is idle. Reducing the size of the turbines and placing within an aerodynamic housing is expected to overcome the drag coefficient while generating power. This would also be an assist to support heating, cooling and electronics functions.
