Bury the Carbon. Bag it.

We are all worried that we are putting too much CO2 into the air and warming the planet. Unfortunately almost all of our waste handling systems concentrate on rotting, burning, and fragmenting a lot of hydrocarbon based products, which will put even more CO2 into the air.

Also there are very serious objections that we rarely manage to reuse or recycle plastic bags, despite the fact that they will last for a thousand years in a landfill.

Thus we should combine these two problems into a solution. Put hydrocarbon wastes (coffee grounds, for example) into plastic bags, seal it like you were going to save it carefully, and then have it buried carefully enough to preserve the seal. Future coal seam. And no CO2...
