Design of the E-VTOL (Designing of Vehicle That Works With Vertical Take Off and Landing, in Small Areas, Without Runway)

This conceptual design is one of the futuristic designs in my thoughts.

My design is for an E- VTOL ( ELECTRIC- VERTICAL TAKE OFF LANDING) Vehicle, which can operate in small areas, without using a runway. Takeoff and landing is done at the same place using turbopropellers, and maneuvering at low altitude, and maintaining safety.

In my thoughts, I want to design an aerovehicle which can be operated as a normal vehicle, which can work in any weather conditions, and in small areas, like a taxi cab.

This design vehicle uses an auxiliary power both engine power and motor power. For takeoff and landing, it uses power from an electric motor creating low noise, in safer way, the motor transfer spower to turbopropellers and used for lift and drag of the vehicle vertically. In maneuvering, it uses engine power and drives the vehicle with safe speeds and low altitude below 500 m for day to day service.

This design will be the future, the vehicle has backup power of 20 min, so that it can work when an engine failure occurs, to land the vehicle safely.

Vehicle uses the Auto Navigation, and works without pilot. For the safety, we included military grade parachute, for safety, in case of failure of engine, and all electrical systems in the vehicle, can land vehicle at any safe place.

This Vehicle reduces, environment pollution, by using both mechanical and electrical power, and environment noise while take off and landing.

This design was an inspiration from cessena 172 aeroplane, which can operates at low altitude and, convienent for short runways.

Our vehicle has a low carbon Emissions, higher efficiency of cost of operation and maintenance. As we are planning to use structure more of using carbon fibre, so that weight can be balanced and having high strength, and provide corrosion free and fatigue failure. And with using advanced turboshaft engine it provides high efficiency of fuel consumption, requires for low fuel for manuveruing, because lot of aeroplane requires more fuel for Take off and Landing procedures, but in my design it takes auxiliary electric power to drive turboprop for Safe Take off and Landing of vehicle.

Uses:

It can be used in immediate and emergency operation, like an Air Ambulance, fire safety vehicle, and for government official purposes, day to day usage;

For commercially it can be used as Taxi service, as it can land on roof of building, as it weighs less than 2000 kgs;

It can accommodate 5 person for flight journey, and can have short and long flight up to 120 minutes, and covers a distance up to 200 miles on an average flight.

This Vehicle is an conceptual design and already tested with aerodynamic structure and manuveruing weather conditions, and passed the structural analysis and safety conditions according to EASA standards.

This design of aerovehicle provides safety and saves our time from traffic.
