According to “WHO-2019-nCoV-Surveillance Guidance 2020” the primary suspected case is when “a patient with acute respiratory illness (that is, fever and at least one sign or symptom of respiratory disease, for example, cough or shortness of breath). This is because the virus is spread through droplets transmitted into the air from coughing or sneezing, which people nearby can take in through their nose, mouth or eyes. The viral particles in these droplets travel quickly to the back of your nasal passages and to the mucous membranes in the back of your throat, attaching to a particular receptor in cells, beginning there. The virus then crawls progressively down the bronchial tubes. When the virus reaches the lungs, their mucous membranes become inflamed that can damage the lung sacs or alveoli by reducing their numbers leading to lowering their capacity of holding air in volume and pressure.

Personal pressure gauge is a device that can be plugged into the nose or mouth to measure the pressure and volume of the air you exhale at a time t, to detect if there is shortness of breath that could indicate your respiratory system is fighting the Coronavirus at its earliest time. Meaning, when you use the Personal pressure gauge; you place it either in your mouth or your nose depending up on the type of the device, close either your mouth or your nose and breathe out. The device will automatically detect and calculate the pressure and volume you exhale and if you see there is big variation to the normal comparing base line; you have your symptom. But the problem is that our comparing base line is not the same because smokers and non smokers may have different normal base line and such. To solve this issue, first the device will set your normal comparing base line but you need to set it when you are at healthy condition from the Coronavirus or any kind of flu. This device is a personal product that must be used only by the owner of the device not to create another way of transmission for the virus.
