The project proposed for the competition "Automated Commodities Vending Machine For Developing Regions"is designed to strengthen Public Distribution System of food grains to people in developing regions.

If the PDS system is not automated proper distribution of food grains is not possible and there are chances of corruption and food grains can be horded by false food tickets.

The Automated system will deliver Packets of food grains in a hygienic packaging that is easy to carry and tracked by RFID tags so that government knows that the commodities are transferred to the right beneficiary.
