I have been reading and hearing that the United States is very short on hospital rooms where people infected with this new virus can be isolated to prevent the spreading .
I think I have a very simple solution that can be produced inexpensively, that could turn large open areas into a great many isolation rooms.
I propose making small clear vinyl rooms supported by a pipe structure with an isolated and filtered air supply.
The room would have an airlock setup to help contain any contaminate and it could also serve as a decontamination chamber for people entering or leaving, by providing a shower and a drain. The drain could be simplified by using a wet/dry vac with improved filtering.
There would be a sealable poet for filtered air and electricity to be provided if necessary.
The set up and tear down times would be minimal with any contaminated room easily disposed of and replaced.
