MeRoar is designed to replace the mirror.
Girls and women have been forced to put up with the most embarrassing way to get examined by their OBGNY doctors. Many have used a mirror for self examination, but that is not sufficient.
MeRoar is meant to play on the word “mirror” but updated to give girls/women the total ability to examine themselves.
MeRoar empowers girls/women to maintain their privacy and eliminate the need for routine examinations, help maintain their dignity and keep control of their bodies away from politicians.
The device is simple to use. MeRoar is made up of a transparent speculum that is the same as the ones the OBGYN doctors use, but it is upside down to be controlled by girls/women themselves. The other difference is that there is a channel through which a flexible scope can be inserted.
The scope contains a built in camera and light and the remotely controllable head can me turned in every direction to allow a clear view of the area to be examined. Connected to a smartphone MeRoar can record the findings of the area in question for easy transmission of visual image to a doctor if needed.
The scope is similar to but softer than the readily available industrial version.
