There are many types of internal combustion engines: four-stroke, two-stroke, Wankel engine ...
Ground vehicles usually use four-stroke engines. Because four-stroke engine has advantages over two-stroke engine and Wankel engine, good lubrication should be more durable, quality exhaust gas better. Two-stroke engine and rotary engine have their advantages: compact, large power, simple structure. However, there is no separate lubrication chamber, which must be mixed lubricant with fuel and sprayed into the combustion chamber. As a result, poor lubrication, poor exhaust quality, reduced engine life.
Technology
This engine is a rotary engine that operates in a two-stroke cycle. A rotor has an epitrochoid profile when combined with a casing created three chambers. One chamber is a combustion chamber, one chamber is a blown chamber. A tube connecting the blown chamber to the combustion chamber. The air/fuel in the blown chamber is compressed and blown to the combustion chamber (scavenging). The remaining chamber is used for lubrication. Inlet and outlet are arranged on two side bodies. These ports are opened/closed by the rotor.
Advantages
1. Simple structure, only two moving parts (shaft and rotor).
2. Has a separate lubrication chamber, increased lubrication, increased exhaust quality, increased durability.
3. Compact, large power.
Applications
Generators, wood cutter machines, lawn mowers, motorcycles, drones...
Benefits
Compact and durable. The engine is good for hybrid cars, can replace two-stroke engine on the wood cutter machine, terrain vehicles.
