Our Portable Solar Generator is a 1.2kW solar array connected to a support structure (mast) with a battery box base that holds 3600Ah of stored energy. This is a Solar + Storage device that has many uses; for example, LMI housing, mobile surgical hospitals, disaster relief, the U.S. military, micro grids for under-developed nations, single family homes, and a means to support rooftop photovoltaic installations to add more kilowatts of production and storage. The PSG (Portable Solar Generator) systems can be connected together for accumulated power and storage capacity. This forms a kind of Solar Cloud where in a distributed power grid resources such as battery storage can be re-purposed by the grid when battery storage banks aren't full they can hold energy from the grid. In other words they perform net-metering lending to the grid as well as drawing power from the grid. You can view our patent at the USPTO.gov patent number 7,898,212. There you'll find an abstract of our invention. We are currently in the blueprinting phase of manufacturing and should have a working prototype by the end of this May.
