This concept provides an alternative idea for a hovercraft. It uses cross-flow fans built into the body to provide inflation for the skirt and thrust for directional movement and breaking. In theory it should be a lot quieter than a conventional hovercraft without the need for a giant propeller stuck behind your head, and could be used indoors as well as outside to provide fun and transport.
