Tires do not only leak air if punctured, they also leak air naturally, and over a year, even a typical new, properly mounted tire can lose from 20 to 60 kPa (3 to 9 psi), roughly 10% or even more of its initial pressure. It is estimated that 41% of accidents with physical injuries are linked to tire problems. In order to overcome the above mentioned problem this method is proposed and the method is based on the self inflation system, with an additional setup to improve the performance. The exhaust gases are used for providing hot atmospheric air to the peristaltic tubes to provide inflation in a quick time & we can get a pressure output of nearly 100psi with which we can produce an power output of 1 kw which can be stored in the battery of automobiles. By this technique we can maintain the tire pressure at an optimum level & we can provide a power output of nearly 1 kw, by maintaining tire pressure at an optimum level, we can improve the fuel efficiency by 2% & avoid decrease in tire life of nearly 25%. We can also avoid pollution by controlling emission of 2 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere. Application of this system includes marginal manufacturing cost since it includes only two new components into current automobiles (heavy vehicle).

The current technology used in self inflation technique uses atmospheric air which enters into the internal regulator whenever there is a pressure drop in the optimized tire pressure. The efficiency of the technology has been modified and improved by supplying high temperature air, so that the pressure rise can be achieved in a short time. This pressure is also used for power production when the tire runs at the optimized pressure.

The system has three components: copper cylinder, Diffuser tube, Rotary union. In this system, air inside the copper cylinder is continuously heated through direct hitting of exhaust gases or through electric coil which gets its supply from the battery.

Through convection with the walls of cylinder, air inside the cylinder gets heated. Due to the temperature rise, the density of the air becomes low and the molecules flow through the outlet of the cylinder. In order to maintain the process continuously, there is a provision for air to enter into the cylinder as the heated air leaves the cylinder. In order to get better pressure output, a diffuser tube is used. Air from the diffuser tube is allowed to pass through the rotary union in order to avoid the twisting action and it is supplied to the internal regulator of the self inflating tyre. Owing to high pressure output, this is made to hit the fan blades for power production.

Militiary vehicles with bullet resistant tyres can be made by improving this technique at a marginal manufacturing cost.customers to target are:

1.People using automotive in hilly areas.

2.Goods loading vehicles used for transportation.

3.Vehicles abroad.

Thus the sysytem proves to be effective to commercilaize in the market.
