People may disagree whether 'Life imitates Art', but fantasy fiction seems to influence the development of many useful products. As such, The Browz*AR (RUGGED*IZ Edition) may be the closest thing yet to producing a helmet display-and-control HUD system like Tony Stark and his armored suits.

RUGGED*IZ can replace existing helmets used as welding-masks, pilot-masks, firefighter-masks, police-masks, combat-masks or other helmet purposes. The Browz*A/R and RUGGED-IZ Edition sees images in milliseconds and downloads certified data to mobile devices in seconds. RUGGED*IZ turns any helmet with computers and cameras into a HUD that can detect and control objects with augmented-reality and augmented virtual-buttons.

1) DISPLAYS data from classified equipment and millions of safety/classified signs, labels and tags
2) CONTROLS aerospace, military or electronic devices with display, camera and APP (or other OOB link)

CONTROL-SCAN: RUGGED*IZ turns mobile devices and helmets into HUD devices that can see-icons displayed on electronic devices or military equipment (STATUS), and send-icons to similar devices (CONTROL). STATUS is sent to RUGGED*IZ APP devices using custom display panels mounted on electronic or military equipment. CONTROL requires cameras, or separate out-of-bounds data via bluetooth, NFC or WiFi.

SAFETY-SCAN: RUGGED*IZ can prevent personal-injury, business-fines or security breaches with signs, warnings and documents that are enhanced with augmented-reality. Employees can POST real and virtual safety/security signs throughout vehicles or workzones. Employees and visitors can READ real and virtual safety/security signs throughout vehicles or workzones, and learn about hazards anywhere, anytime, in any language.

RUGGED*IZ has 3 easy-to-use A/R features in a single APP: 1) Public Mode, 2) Private Mode, 3) Control Mode. Public-Mode grants access to millions of images like SAFETY signs stored in the PUBLIC Cloud. Private Mode grants dual access to company-wide images stored in Enterprise Clouds, and user-defined images stored on mobile devices. Control Mode sends signals back to devices using display panels or other OOB channel link.

But there is more...

RUGGED-IZ prevents prying eyes from accessing images and data using hashkey encryption. Classified images and data are protected using least-privilege security on a global scale. Images and data are stored in a certified cloud database called the SECURE-T-ZONE, and Mandala-Codes provide the (Hash)-KEY to WHAT you SEE.

Prototype & Product Status: RUGGED*IZ recognizes images on 1 mobile device, and user-defined images.

RUGGED*IZ cannot (yet) communicate between 2 mobile devices or electronic devices using A/R. Outside funding would help complete the 2-device communication objective, virtual buttons and mandala-code system.
