After many years of listening to Co-gens and Power Companies, globally, go into a panic for turbine parts, and having to drive every machine shop in the USA to the brink of exhaustion, working weekends and overtime to fill expedited orders, I designed a better "mouse trap." Millions of dollars are lost, due to down time, misidentified configurations, lack of parts and material to make the components. I am not rich, so I can only submit an elementary PPT of my design, with no R&D, just the experiential knowledge that this design is needed in the Power Generation Industry, to reduce the inefficient daily commerce of gas turbine parts and maintenance operations currently in place. My externally supported turbine, Delkat 232 Gas Turbine, is a simplistic design, which employs a hollow center cartridge, that can be easily removed, to access compression or turbine components, reducing turn-around-time, down time, repair costs, and increasing Outage Recovery.
