My entry is fairly simple since it just combines two existing technologies: voice recognition software has been in development for 10 years, and Google is about to launch augmented reality glasses, displaying text or any picture over the normal vision. My idea is to combine these for hearing impaired people: in a simple conversation, the text spoken by the person would just get written on the glasses, helping hearing impaired people who cannot read lips. Another use would be in the street, using the glasses as a navigation system to display surrounding sounds, for example a car engine coming from behind the person. The info could be displayed as text if the software can identify this sound, or simply as a sound wave.
