Standardized Glass Bottles Worldwide

With plastic pollution becoming an increasingly growing threat, with the Great Pacific Garbage Patch or drinkable water pollution, the need to revise our consumer habits is needed. By using glass bottles instead of plastic bottles, the use of plastic would be greatly reduced. A standard agreed worldwide would ensure the profitability and ease of use of the process, and make recycling easier, since any bottle could be cleaned and reused for anything. Current "recycling" usually involves breaking or melting the bottle. It would leave the packaging for brands to get a distinctive look. A global standard could be extended to all containers, like jerrycans, plastic boxes for small parts, or even ballpoint pen parts.
