The Vector Car involves a new body shape using a centrifugal power train providing maximum fuel economy. Length: 17' Wheel base:139"

It is powered by a four cylinder engine combined with an electrical motor configured as a pulsating generator providing kinetic energy to the circumference of the vertically mounted flywheels.

The two large flywheels are driven by the use of disc brake pads applying pressure on a special axle arrangement powered by a four cylinder engine having sufficient energy to a differential producing required movement to the heavy flywheels that are interfaced with the rear axles transmitting motion to a standard wheel and tire system without the use of a differential.
Flywheels are mounted in vertical positions on either side of the vehicle within the body frame. The four cylinder engine is mounted parallel within the middle confines of the two flywheels.

Differentiating is provided by a first differential.

Braking arrangement is two fold in that disc brake pads are mounted in position for use near the flywheels circumference and augmented by the standard disc brakes on the ground surface rear wheels.

The circumference of the flywheels are interfaced with a drive shaft extending from either end of an electrical motor sufficient size mounted transversely within the car body frame. This arrangement allows for a stand alone maneuvering method in close quarters.(360 degree turning radius of vehicle length), as well as the intermittent pulsating force applied to the outer circumference of the flywheels during travel mode to reduce engine fuel consumption.
The Vortex vehicle when set in operational mode will not move until an engagement assembly within the flywheels is first activated. Brake pedal pressure when applied deactivates flywheel activity.

The Vector body design is intended to provide the smallest coefficient of drag possible when compared with existing vehicles presently surfacing our roads.

Grown surface loading of the front of the Vector car is provided by two nose wheels under the vehicle, spaced at an appropriate distance from the center line of the vehicle and not exposed to outside viewing.Nose wheels are at a distance forward of the centroid, providing maximum stability in any attitude.

The Vector car is intended to produce speeds of 75 mph, based on the consumption of 1 gallon of fuel for each 60 miles of highway travel.

Battery power and recharging is supplied during travel and by any 120v electrical outlet coupled to the on board charger system.
