The Trekr Design Multi-screen Workstation © has four screens in a portable PC configuration. The screens have individual on/off controls, so even when not turned on, the additional screens act as a hood to improve visibility and privacy. My design makes them available in a laptop, as current video-card design and PC operating systems support multiple screens,. Such a configuration would be very useful in video editing, desktop publishing or any other application that benefits from multiple screens. A multi-screen workstation can be easily produced with the cost, size and weight of LCD screens today.
