Handy Screw Caps for Soda Bottles

Problem:
Soda drinks in plastic bottles sometimes go flat in no time, due to the loss of carbonation, caused by carbon dioxide leaking through the screw caps. The reason therefor is that those caps are not tight enough screwed on, because the knurled cap doesn't allow a solid grip, mostly slipping through the fingers, especially when wet, and in some cases actually leaving scratch marks on the hand.

Solution:
A better grip by using an ergonomic shaped screw cap, allowing a very tight closure of any plastic bottle.

Advantages:
Handy screw caps are light, inexpensive and offer a solid grip, dry or wet. Even small children and older people can easily open and close soda bottles. The soda remains carbonated. No more waste of flat sodas.

Manufacturing:
Use of the same plastic material, like all other screw caps are made of. Either the manufacturer offers all soda bottles with new handy screw caps, or the aftermarket offers reusable handy screw caps for consumers replacing the original knurled caps.

Costs:
The additional plastic material will only slightly increase the cost for manufacturing.

Disadvantages:
Use of more plastic material. Convincing the soda manufacturers to use better screw caps (profit cuts).

Objective:
All plastic bottles, including screw caps should be recycled.
