My idea is for a reusable container made of 100% post-consumer, fully recyclable material, such as a heavyweight cardboard, for liquids, such as detergent and fabric softener. The reusable packaging would hold either individual ladders of detergent or fabric softener or a combination of both for cross promotional brands. Bladders would also be made of 100% post-consumer, fully recyclable material. Multiple sized bladders would fit into a universal dispenser to accommodate consumer volume needs.
This design would reduce overall packaging needed for laundry and other frequently purchased cleaning liquids while allowing for a multi use dispensing system. Not only would this product benefit the environment as a result of the reduction in waste material and increased recyclability, the product would require less energy to produce and transport.
