Medical

HSOA puts human health care at the center of its preoccupation. Nowadays, people let their health worsen for many reasons: waste of time in emergency rooms, too few medical workers, fear or feeling ashamed to take medical tests. As a result, many people live with chronic diseases and decide to see a doctor when it’s too late. Every day, physicians say that some illness as cancer, diabetes or cardiac trouble could be treated if the patient did not wait so long before going to a medical center. HSOA aims to improve the medical system as it works now. It helps people to take care more tightly of their health by permitting them to make medical checkups more often at their home. Nowadays, many diseases can be detected as soon as possible thanks to a drop of blood, expiration air, spit, urine, excrement and so on. By taking such tests more often allows collection of more statistics and prevention of diseases at their earlier phase. Other medical can also be made as pregnancy test, ultrasound, scanning but it recommended having medical assistance to do so. However, the patient can stay at home most of the time. It could be much easier and costless for public medical systems to be managed in such a way. Data collected will be sent to medical centers where many experts and power computers could examine them. People will be called to go to a medical center only if some worrying signs appear. In such case, physicians will  know a lot of other information about the patient's health history. Furthermore, some advice could be sent much earlier to the patient about taking some vitamins or eating some foods to improve their health. Our system could help to prevent pandemics by finding germs as soon as they appear in a region. Although the confidentiality will be respected in each phase of the process, information about illness symptoms would be shared among medical and pharmaceutical researchers throughout the world. This last argument will reduce time in finding adequate medication. Although the system use a PC to operate, security is guaranteed throughout the process. The operating system and the medical data of a family (4 members for instance) will be saved in a 1 Terabyte USB key. By initializing the OS, some information coming from the DNA of the family will be processed. So any other person can’t hack the system. Furthermore, each medical exam checks some biometrics information about the patient’s identity and the system checks DNA during each kind of test (spit, blood and so on). Webcam could also be used to increase security during remote medical examination. Fiber optic cables will be used to alleviate signal distortions but some data such as text and statistics could be sent by satellite. A person in a big hurry can use his cellphone to make some daily tests such as glycemia but the data must be saved in the USB key and transfered to the medical center
